A song for me to heal by. Thank you Sara for giving me strength to push forward. It's been 5 years since I walked out the door. When he broke my wrist and the officer told me he didn't want to see me next time in a body bag, I listened and never went back. How can someone you loved so much, take the very life out of you and not care? I'm in therapy, but 20 years of abuse is a slow process to heal. I think I had to go through this pain to become the woman I am today. I am strong.
