exactly social services have never really done a good job , they are still the same today as they were nearly 50 years ago when i was in the system , my nan reported my parents to social services for neglect and lets say ab use when i was 2 but my parents found out and moved to a different county , it took social services 6 years to find them and then put me in the system , my parents were claiming dole money and social security benefit the whole time so shouldnt have been hard to find , they only managed to find them because my parents actually contacted them because they could no longer cope with me of my 5 siblings , social services moto seems to be "out of sight out of mind"

When my daughter was getting married I was with them when they saw the registrar. She made my daughter answer her fiance's questions and her fiance answer my daughter's questions. They both have ancestry going back in the UK to at least the 1800s, even further on some family lines. I asked why they had to do this and was told it was to stop sham marriages. The problem that we have is this poor baby girl was let down and effectively allowed to be tortured to death. Recently in the Uk another teenage girls father beat her with an iron rod for wearing makeup - that doesn’t come from western culture. Of course dad was let off - female suffers. Why are peole so naive? They think everyone is the same. In Pakistan they have ways of managing and steering Pakistani people in the right way. In England we have ways of steering English people in the right way. In England we don't have ways of maintaining and guiding Pakistani communities. So......obviously.......if for some reason in the mid 20th century and on you bring millions of Pakistani people to mingle with and live at the centre of English life our society won't have the means to properly guide and manage those people and therefore the most undesirable elements of that people will be out of control and run rampant. Characters like this would probably be dealt with pretty swiftly out there but we are not prepared for them. You can't just move anyone anywhere and expect it to work out. The same happens with other immigrant groups. We are not prepared to manage them and their worst aspects get out of control.

When I look at the picture of the 9 year old, dressed like a teenager, wearing earrings and what looks like makeup and lipstick, I suspect she was sexually abused as well. The failure of all the systems to protect the vulnerable seems to have failed her. The father and his wife must be extradicted to face their sentence.
