I am a big believer in Capital Punishment, some people do not deserve this life they have been given and the tax payer should not have to pickup the bill, this is where me and Peter will disagree. I think in America he would have got the death sentence and rightfully so we all know these sort of people don't deserve to be here, now we have to pay 51.108K each year to be in prison for 40 years, that's £2 Million, how is this not worth bringing back capital punishment. We have 11,500 foreign criminals, that's £587 Million each year instead of deporting them, the whole system is a free for all to spend money instead of saving it.

The one who really provoked my anger is the step mother more than the father . She is totally emotionless, lacks empathy , is merciless for no good reason whatsoever. The father has longstanding history of violence and he should have been referred much earlier by Social Services if not his GP to a psychiatrist for assessment and therapy. I have seen more than one case where Social Services action towards vulnerable children was far from protective of them but could not influence their decision. The poor innocent girl lost her life and nothing will change the fact she was let down by all around her , not just the abusive father , step mother and her indifferent uncle.
