why does she touch the ground on the cleans? Is that a crossfit thing?

A typical kettlebell clean looks kinda like a swing except you catch it in the front rack. So it swings under your legs at the bottom instead of touching the ground. In competition, for kettlebell clean and jerks the kettlebell can't touch the floor.

Joel Martinez yea you're right that would be a regular KB c&j. This would be a dead clean and jerk when it's from the ground. KBs are very versatile ;)
