Hi.... I moved to the eastern coastal area in North Carolina. I bought a 110 year old house that has stood in tact all these years and through numerous hurricanes. I happened across Brian's channel while trying to learn about the hurricane season here.... So glad I did!! He is very informative and shows how weather forms and why, giving me a sense of ease that I can stay ahead of the severe weather and be able to plan and prepare for any severe hurricanes coming our way!

Yeah. He's been on KZbin four years. Must have been with a TV station prior to KZbin. Louisiana Delta here. We just rebuild and start over. Hurricanes are a part of our life. Until you been knocked down by wind in the stern of a 30 footer and crawling around trying to tie off and save the boat, you haven't experienced the power of a hurricane coming up the Mississippi River. Without that boat I had no job... I was losing the boat, waves coming over transom. Pumps couldn't keep up, so broke loose ran south and grounded it fast on a bar. Ran four 100' lines, tied off and left. Next morning, she was just sitting pretty out in the river. Pump out, backed off bar, and back to dock. All was well.
