The garlic guy really seemed to struggle to refrain from smiling when he spoke of saving “a whole lot of labor costs” at 8:17. The dollar signs could be seen in his eyes like a kid in a candy store. “Labor costs” are PEOPLE. It never ceases to amaze me how hard businesses try to eliminate people and at the same time say “people are our most important asset.”

Stop your Marxist nonsense. Picking through garlic to reject bad ones is an easily-automated task. If he paid everyone $25/hr, all of us couldn’t afford garlic. Those workers are lucky he hasn’t totally automated already. Automating boring, repetitive jobs that are bad for people’s mind and body is a net positive for everyone.

@jbi1839 we keep them in the fridge in an air-tight jar so they won't oxidize. They last for a month. We only buy a pound of peeled garlic during special occasions when big batch of food needs to be prepared. For most of the time, we just crack a bulb and shake vigorously in a jar. They peel themselves efficiently. You can also fry the garlic peel and use the oil for fried rice. Or steamed fish.

I can but it for 99 cents so their break down on the cost is way off. The so called cheese is not cheese at all. And the pasta is even more unhealthy.
