Wow!!! What a stunning piece of art. All the colors and different types of paints knew what to do. ❤ How fun having a helper learning the beauty of pouring. The 5 yr old I nanny and I have off the clock "us time" usually once a week, as main job is her 9 mo old sister. Her aunt has requested a paint pour for her birthday as she has really created some beautiful paintings with me. Teaching her ratios by measuring, cup layering, paint consistency and most of all patience. She gets excited about cells (working on straight pours and boulder or pealr cells) I told her it's a big deal when people ask for your art! She's so smart and learns fast. We also make jewelry and a friend requested a Keychain. She's learning hoop dance with me when we don't craft. Or i don't want to make a crafty mess. 😂 Thank you for the inspiration!! Sorry so long but i believe in teaching these kids worlds of art that aren't typically in a classroom. Your understudy is lucky! ❤❤❤

Absolutely stunning. This is my first time seeing your work. I've been watching quite a few fluid painting examples, many called "dutch pour". This one is a cut above. I've been painting for years, but this is something I'd love to learn. And btw, love that you've got a student in with you - I volunteer at my kid's schools to help support their artistic endeavors as well. What a great experience you're offering the 8th grader!! Is there a book that you can recommend that would to help learn this process?

You know it was pretty subtle and when I go back, I may have cut some of that part of the video out, it was just sprayed down the centerline a bit while the paint was wet.

Hi Dwight, so great to hear from you! It’s been a while. I usually work on these for about an hour when the paint is wet. As soon as it starts to dry on the edges time is up!😅 I hope all is well with you, let’s catch up sometime.

Loved this video, beautiful outcome. Tri art is very expensive in U.K. but I love the results. Did you use the black artist loft in your brown/black base layer? Or does the Tri art paint produce pearls… having to really think before I buy as £200 on amazon 😬 x

I actually actually used Medeen studio, acrylic and black, and a little bit of Triart burnt umber. If it’s too expensive expensive, golden fluids, or another great option!
