Maybe Someday & Hopeless happen to be in my top favorites of hers, with It Ends With Us and Ugly Love. (Losing Hope is basically up there too.) Music is another favorite thing next to books for me, so Maybe Someday is really my thing. I think she played with that fine line between right & wrong, showing that it's wrong but also making the characters try to end their attraction and want to be better, even though love becomes stronger. The end of it is good, imo. The twist with Ridge is so cool too. Thanks to Collen, Griffin Peterson is one of my favorite musicians. My faves on the soundtrack are Hold On to You & Maybe Someday. (He's got so many great songs not even connected to her & also wrote ones for Ugly Love & Nov. 9! Fun fact: he's the one on Losing Hope cover.) Maybe Now gives Maggie a whole story & perspective afterward & Sydney's even better. Ridge is just loyal, even if things get uncomfortable. For Slammed, I do love the series, but I understand why people don't for a specific trope. It's less prominent after the 1st one I think. It has some GREAT slam poetry and the 1st book has some lines about grief that almost made me tear up in public because I related. Some good life lessons from the main character's mom in that one too. (Also do NOT look at the description for This Girl before the reading first 2 if you want to avoid spoilers.)

I have read every single CoHo book and started 1 week after Slammed came out. Since that book I have pre-ordered and read every single one. Maybe someday I connect with because I too am hard of hearing and use hearing aids so I always found her spin on this disability making him a musician and the way he interprets everything to be beautifully portrayed. 😍 My cousin and I are actually flying out to TX in November to visit her Bookworm box I went 6 years ago but we're going so she can see it and I can see the changes and just have a great time as well! I am such a slow reader too but I cannot get myself to watch the movies to any of these books. Reading vs. watching movies is such a wild concept to me because it takes me days to finish a single book. No matter how interested I am in the book I cannot sit and read for more then an hour and a half at a time without getting distracted and to be able to just sit and watch a two hour movie and the whole story be over that fast, I feel like its such a waste of a good opportunity to just feel the story and have the want to just keep figuring out what happens next. I can't even remember the last time I watched a movie tbh.

Fun Facts: Colleen worked with a musician to make songs for the Maybe Someday and Maybe Now. Also, I like Maybe now more than Maybe Someday because it makes Maybe Someday make sense. and you don't have to read Maybe Not, it's a story of their friends. Understand why you're iffy about Maybe Someday because that how i was before Maybe Now. I didn't like that they were crossing boundaries and lines that they shouldn't. But most of it is explained in Maybe Now!
