The fact you hear the TMO say at 1.26.01 - "oh come on dont show it"... should be banned from officiating again. What this does confirm is exactly what most rugby fans have thought - is that tv coverage directly influences what the TMOs look at - and worryingly leaves the sport open to accusations of broadcasters influencing matches directly. Transparency needed ASAP!

It was a very bizarre piece of officiating. Then you hear him say aw cmon don’t show it.

I wonder if there is a parallel universe where club rugby football went professional at the same time association football did and every game is played in front of forty, fifty, sixty thousand crowds every week?

Its so funny this video still provides the TMO commentary at 1.26.01 where he's saying he wont review blatantly dangerous foulplay because Healey called it out and he doesnt want to look bad. Too late for that mate, and this really needs to call how TMOs review footage into question.

Much as I appreciate the quality of Saracens play, something is going fundamentally wrong if a top four side can put 50 points past another top four side. The premiershop has already been savaged by the loss of three clubs. The overview is not good.

This is the second Prem match that I have tried to watch in the past four days that I have had to abandon at half-time because the video quality is so bad. Players are only identifiable in close-up shots, and are just different-coloured blobs in middle- or long-range shots. The ball would often completely disappear when it was passed or kicked. It is not possible to follow a game, or to assess who is doing what, when I can't see what is going on. Chrome OS tells me that the video resolution is 854x480, but it looks much worse than that. I can't believe that Premiership Rugby would upload an almost unwatchable video such as this, or the one I tried to watch earlier this week, because it does not make watching rugby enjoyable or desirable. My finger is pointed firmly at KZbin, who have a monopoly in the online video business and are only concerned with making obscene amounts of money out of that, with no concern for the quality of the viewer's experience. In the absence of any alternative to YT could PR instead put all of their matches on their own website (in full - not just highlights, and in HD), rather than allowing YT to present rugby in such a poor way? I realise there would be some extra costs in bandwidth, servers, admin, etc., but surely it would be worth it to promote the game of rugby in the way it deserves to be seen, rather than the way a gang of american mercenaries choose to show it.
