It's usually an yin / yang thing. Yin - spiritual energy for imagination. Yang - physical energy for creating. Sasuke - yang to to create the flames and yin to shape it Itachi - yang to create the flames and yin for genjutsu Obito - yang to change his body and yin for a envisioned space Shisui - yang to physically enter the mind of a person and yin for genjutsu Sarada seems to awaken / re-awaken it when she finds out she's been deceived badly. So either it reveals things or undoes things in some way. Shisui got his from the guilt of letting his friend die. So he got the ability to change reality. Sarada might be similar.

Great video! you are becoming one of my favorite anime reviewers because you do a really good job of thoroughly explaining, and connecting your theory’s. Not only do I agree she will get soemthing related to shisui, but I have been saying for a while I think saradas mangekyo is being saved for boruto/momshiki specifically. When her and sasuke trained she vowed to him she wanted to be strong enough to stop momoshiki and protect boruto. I think she will be the only one who can stop momshiki from rampaging and eventually get him in control. It would make sense she takes after itachi because the theme for boruto has been skipping generations. Boruto takes after Minato, hima after Kushina, and since sarada doesent have established grandparents she most likely would take after itachi and shisui, with hopefully a little bit of fugaku cause we don’t know much about him.

Sarada will need to attain power from her mangekyo that gives her the power and abilities to become the hokage and protect everyone she cares about, and right now she’s trying to protect boruto, who enemies that are potentially at Boruto’s level or may end up reaching for example, Kawaki are trying to kill and effect the livelihood of either directly or indirectly, so simply speaking her power needs to jump to a level where she ends up being a character who’s power falls slightly short of where Boruto is now so that she can lend him assistance, but not exactly overtake the trajectory of the main character

Yo this makes a lot of sense, every time an Uchiha goes through a traumatic experiences. It Auto Unlock’s “mangekeyo sharingan” all those characters linking they’re past experiences with choices unlocks which type mangekyo and abilities it’s specific variation utilizes. Interesting 🤔

To the part where you said something similar to full counter of meliodias or the ability of the daughter of Susanoo. Her Uncle hat something in his Susanoo called the yata mirror we all know that, this mirrors ability was to throw everything back what was used against it. So why I think this could also possibly play a role we only once saw or twice saw this ability used but it was known that the yata mirror and also the sword of totsuka were items Itachi found and added to his susanoo. A weaker version of this ancient relict as a mangekyo sharingan ability could make sense. Cuz the big problem we have in boruto right now is everyone is way too f strong and Amaterasu gets eating like ichirakus ramen, so when attacking won’t work you need a greater defensive and the best Defense of em all is the yata mirror.

I love the idea of the changing destiny Mangekyou. It's very feminine and doesn't need to have destructive power, kind of like Izanami. It suits Sarada well. She doesn’t need to have broken abilities, though changing destiny is kind of broken. However, like Izanami, it seems only good people get to use it. Additionally, Momoshiki couldn't understand why his prediction didn’t come true; Sasuke is the reason why Boruto didn't fall. Sasuke looked so straight into Sarada’s Mangekyou Guy sensie is disappointed. This way, Sarada remains super relevant to the story and plot without being another broken character.

I think these two abilities are really getting close to what I think it's more suitable. my first thought is a little similar when to guess her MS powers is. Firstly, that she gets the ability of something about time manipulation but not really. To me that I have watched and guessed about Sarada problem is that she is alone in mostly all her life, she doesn't have any relative that can help her or makes her feel the love of other relative by blood. Sure, I guess her mother, father and Hokage Naruto already thought her what's a real family are like but if it's something more to it, maybe one of her powers is to speak to the undead, like spiritually. THATS my first guess, its lame but just to give my thoughts to what her first MS ability is in my opinion. And to her second power, it must be something to do with THAT time WITH BORUTO, as MR Kidomaki mentioned something she still isn't aware of yet, but her MS is the proof of her unknown feeling, and to me it's with her love for Boruto and the pain of seeing the whole Konoha village turn against him. So, the awaked MS of Sarada existed at that time to when all everything is getting unjustly, an ability shows the truth/hope, an ability that is a combat like but can somehow help her loved one. It's tricky, I haven't figured it out, but Ima goes with crazy chakra mode boost or unlimited chakra. ? You see, Sarada is mostly weak in her combat range when she uses her Mangieku Sharingan , she needs an unlimited or more chakra to help with her fighting skills. I think her second MS ability that MR Kidomaki mentioned is mostly her skills, her determination to beat the opponent but if she gets a power chakra boosted, she not only heals her loves one but also increase her longevity and impact of her second ability of her MS powers. My theory before your video was, that her mangekyo could bring something like a persuasion ability or making people believe what she says. I think that would fit the moment she awakened it pretty good. And Ameterasu, because she wields the will of the fire, kinda like Itachi did. But your ideas are pretty good to. Sarada not knowing about her Ms is trash writing, since nobody told Obito when he spam kamui vs the mist shinobi. Kakashi situation only makes sense because he instantly passes out after awakening his Ms, while sarada was chillin with Sumire after completing conscious about what happened. Training with kakashi or Sakura would eventually reveal she had her Ms in 3 yrs. The main reason we haven’t seen yet is because the writers aren’t going all out with the shinju fights, these are just set up chapters before the big fight. Showing her Ms just to neg diff sarada, with hidari claw marks chidori isn’t gonna be good if she used it last ch.

I think her ability must be linked to Ada's and Daemon's abilities. She awakened her Mangekyo after Ada's omnipotence and her eyes looks like suns. Both Ada's and Daemon's Senringan are shaped like the moon. She may have similar or counterspells to theirs abilities.

Yall don't forget there's a difference between the mangekyou sharingan and ETERNAL mangekyou sharingan. The more someone uses their mangekyou the more their vision darkens until its gone, unless they receive a new set of sharingan eyes and unlock EMS. A reason Sarada wouldn't use her mangekyou is simply because of its extreme cost, the loss of her vision.

Awakening the mangekyou automatically matured both of their two tomoe sharingan into 3 tomoe. This happened when rin died so obito did not awaken it under the bolder

Within the Naruto universe, has it ever been stated that an Uchiha can feel when they unlock the Mangekyo? Even when they unlock the Sharingan, most just carry on until someone says something. If this is the case, then I can understand why activating the other upgrade maybe has no feeling. But, when Sasuke did it, the anime made it seem like he knew after crying that he had it.

5:59 Itachi developed his Mangekyo prior to killing the Uchiha clan and during that massacre, he used tsukuyomi on Sasuke. Unless Itachi never practiced tsukuyomi on anyone prior to the Uchiha massacre, I guess one can say it developed the night of the massacre, which would be the same night he used it on Sasuke. Just doesn't sound right.

The theory of a subconscious/ unaware Mangekyo awakening makes sense. But I don't see any real hints about her specific MS ability. It's definitely not going to be the "time skip", because Urashiki already had that. Having two unrelated characters with the same ability isn't going to happen.

I think the left sharingan given to kakashi was still based off of obito personality. Because what yiu said about kakashi is the same as obito he watched a person he cared for died right in front of him so the left eye developed that ability into kakashi instead because he obviously gave his eye to him.

aiite what if when the omnipotence happened the thing she wanted more was to be in borutos place since u mentioned she always wanted the connection boruto had with her dad , so what if her mangekyo ability has something to do with switching things complimentary to sasukes rinnegan ability , something like laws room from one piece , for example she can switch anything like justus different objects different people , i think it would be cool for example we see boruto do a rasengan and sarada do a chidori and then she just switches both justus where sarada do rasengan and boruto do chidori , it would make sense since they both look up to the others dad

I doubt she has a "Full Counter" ability mostly because daemon already has it. I think she has some type of Izanami. The same way Itachi made Kabuto realize his mistakes through putting him in a loop, I think Sarada was able to do that to sasuke (Or something similar) right before he decided to help Boruto.

It would be measured by the user's ability to impose their will on their target. The more the target resists, the more pain they feel from the genjutsu's burning light or flames.

We physically and visually see the mangelyou awaken when rin dies. It automatically activates when it’s unlocked. Obito didn’t awaken it when he was crushed and it’s never stated anywhere that he used it to avoid the boulders especially when he literally was crushed by it, he didn’t avoid it, he was already crushed by it. Really bad argument. Madara was not being literal, he was clearly being hyperbolic and on top of this, kishimoto isn’t a good writer so you’re already putting 300x more thought into this than he did.

I mean I already proved this wrong with sasuke and Sarada reawakening the Sharingan later on in life. This is from direct statements and events. So you can’t just ignore the story and say “you can’t reawaken the Sharingan”. As it pertains to obito, already explained in the video how the logic tracks as to how he didn’t die and why the ability matches the event similar to the other Mangekyo abilities. Sometimes the writes is a smart as we think they are lol, and I have no reason to doubt that kishimoto didn’t conceptualize this, especially since I’m just reading what he wrote.
