The Spectre is my favourite in design, XPS second. Would go for the XPS also though. I really do hope the new XPS 15 comes with a 16:10 display. That is the one thing I love with my MBP 15", that little extra height makes such a difference!

If the spectre had a 16:10 or 3:2 display, it would be the obvious choice. I still got the spectre the dell just has bad value (in my case, $700 more + need to buy a pen), just wasn't worth it.

So I just found ur channel while searching for my newest computer (I'm a college student who has been using the same 2012 mac since middle school) and you've helped me out a lot in finding my next computer. I found this video particularly useful and I'm gonna go with the xps 13 2 in 1 and see how it works for me. I am really interested in using OneNote for notetaking and general journaling. I feel like I never learn anything typing away bullet points for notes, and it's incredibly unengaging. Plus, with Covid, the high nits and long battery life mean I will FINALLY be able to work outside! Much better than sitting in my apartment all day lol. Thanks for the quality, experience-driven reviews! You earned a subscriber! EDIT: personally, I would love to see a direct comparison between the apple pencil, dell active pen, whatever comes with the surface pro, etc. to see which setup gives the best student notetaking experience, looking at things like compatible software, touch UI, digital pen quality, ease of use, etc.

I've got the xps 2in1. I'll be honest, I wish the c940 had 32gb because I'd have gotten that instead. Honestly, after owning my XPS which has been an incredibly frustrating experience (constant throttling, doesn't s3 sleep so I have to hibernate it, etc) I would probably even scale back to the 16GB C940 and be happier. The thing throttles so much (even undervolted) that I'll never get close to using my 32gb before I get frustrated and quit. It's become my couch/bed laptop instead of my mobile powerhouse, so basically an expensive Ipad. I love these 2in1s, they make my 2016 MBP feel like a device from the early 2000s. Win10 is still abhorrent, though. This laptop hardware (sans throttling/thermal issues) with OSX would be incredible.

I bought the Dell XPS 15 2019 and the HP Spectre 2019. Between the two, Spectre was a better one other than the large bezels which are gone in the 2020 Spectre. Here's my take on these two machines: - HP has awesome speakers made by Bang & Olufsen. - HP has a much better display being the AMOLED vs. Dell that has the OLED. The 4k tests are far superior on the HP. - Dell has a better Trackpad whereas the HP is very sensitive to touch. - HP has better keyboard touch feel whereas the Dell feels a bit stiff. - Dell has better keyboard spacing so it's easier to type whereas the keys are much further apart on the HP. - Dell has no keypad which is better since the center of the display is also the mid-point for the keyboard. - HP has better camera. - Dell has virtually no bezels. - HP comes with a nice faux leather case and a stylus. - Dell has a better CPU with 6 cores (9th Gen) whereas HP has 4 cores (10 Gen). - HP design is amazing whereas Dell is boring. - HP is a 2-in-1 whereas XPS 15 isn't. Although at 4.5lbs, I wouldn't use either as tablets. Dell XPS 15 - Intel i7-9750 (6 cores) - 15" OLED Touch - 32GB DDR4 RAM - nVidia GeForce GTX 1650 4GB DDR5 - 1TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD - HD Camera HP Spectre x360 15 2-in-1: - Intel i7-10 (6 cores) - 15" OLED Touch - 16GB DDR4 RAM - nVidia GeForce MX250 2GB DDR5 - 1TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD - Full HD Camera

Thanks for sharing. The best testing video this year. How about the Thinkpad X1 YOGA 2020?

I'm using the hp envy x360 15 and it's quite close to the spectre, look the same and is cheaper. Not too cheap, as it's still on the premium side 😅, but for what it offers, it's a better deal than the spectre

There are lot of models in hp envy x360 series With similar configuration , should i go for this model??? (I dont have to edit photo or video stuff) Any issues you faced with this model till now ? Touchscreen only work in tablet mode or in laptop mode also? HP ENVY x360 Convertible Laptop - 15z-ee000 touch it is priced now at $719 + taxes.(at hp website)(4500u. 8+256 nvme ssd) Is it worth to spend ?? At which website i can get a best deal ?? Hp is offering tilt pen with additional price of $30. Should i go for it? What the difference between them? Can i add internal hard disk or sata ssd ???

Very unfair to say the XPS has a better pen than the other two when it doesn’t even come with one, and you had to buy it separately. This is also egregious considering the higher price over the other two. While the included yoga stylus is lacking, Lenovo sells several pen style styluses that are in league with the dell pen.

Sara ... which one the best between 3 laptop that you review ?
@wiz34045 жыл бұрын
the integrated graphics in the 10th gen are pretty solid. The i5-1035g7 with the IrisPlus Graphics in my Surface Laptop 3 can do some moderate gaming. On Overwatch for example, I get 40-50 fps on lowest and 720p 75% scale, not amazing but definitely playable

Doom 2016 on my c940 at 60 FPS on 65% resolution at 16:9 display resolution = still looks HD AF and runs great

Also a great note for students: These 13" laptops are almost the same size as A4 paper, which makes it pretty practical in backpacks.

Hi, I have a question❓ after reviewing or unboxing the product, what are you doing with same products? If same products are still with you then can you sold me same laptop with reasonable price? I need only one....

I've owned 2 Lenovos and was disappointed. I've owned 2 dells, 1 was great, 1 very underwhelming, this time, I ordered the fully loaded HP and am looking forward to it.
