I keep thinking the prior week’s episode was the best ever; but then the new one becomes the best ever!❤ As an MD, who’s always had an interest in alternative medicine (although definitely not to the depth of Dr Motley’s knowledge) (and I’ll just put in a plug for Dr Andrew Weil in Arizona, who is kinda the father of integrative medicine in the US); Dr Motley is spot on. (especially about not wanting to talk about parasites…😂…I’ve seen too many… real & imagined….talking about you, Methamphetamine!) Western medicine does some things miraculously well, like trauma, hearts, critical care…. But there are plenty of things where we really don’t have the answers, like Chronic pain, autoimmune, etc. Although we’re getting better at it. I agree with Dr Motley that every hospital should have an integrative medicine department. A few do, but not enough. Thanks for the fascinating podcast!💕
