When I first heard that Sarah Connolly toyed with pursuing a career as a jazz singer I thought, there’s no way - such a marvelous mezzo voice as hers isn’t right for jazz! Now I realize my mistake. This woman can sing (and sing well) whatever she puts her mind to. Mea culpa, Ms Connolly.
