I don't know if the bassist is related to David Grisman? I love the plaintiveness of this rendition. And although comparisons are a drag on both a listener's perception and an artist's creativity, I find the intrepidness to find the marrow that Sarah exhibits in putting a song forward inspires the same admiration from me as does the work of Gillian Welch. Both ring so keenly true.
