I really appreciate that the writers have finally started giving Jonathan these moments of happiness and clarity. After all of the things he had to go through in seasons 1 and 2, it just seemed so unfair and was so hard to see his good character be slowly broken down bit by bit. In season 3 so far, we've seen Jonathan pass his driver's test and get proper closure on Eliza after she dumped him over the phone. I'm so glad that Jonathan turned Eliza down after thinking she could just worm her way back into Jon's life after she dumped him over a phone call even after she found out he was already dating someone else. Like Lois said in 1x05, Eliza realized that Jon was a great guy and that she majorly messed up by doing what she did and now she has to live with the regret, which in my opinion she definitely deserves it considering how wrong everything was going in Jon's life, she has no idea what she put him through. I really hope the writers keep this going for Jonathan's arc this season, the kid definitely deserves some happiness especially now that he's found out his mother's been diagnosed with cancer. Plus, I love how nonchalant the kids are with Jordan's powers and how he just casually flies in after freezing a car. And considering that Travis and his friends called Jordan and Sarah "beer bitches" just because they were salty after losing to them, I'd say they got off pretty easy with Jordan just freezing his car considering how in season 1, Jordan almost shattered a guy's skull when he got provoked. The kids at that party have no idea how lucky they are that Jordan learned his lesson in controlling his emotions and powers, otherwise I'm pretty sure the all would've gotten wrecked.
