@@wenjingsaf People are living longer these days _(10-20yrs)_ with proper treatment, depending on the underlying cause of their PAH.

@Valerie O'Brien How are you today? You should find a PH specialist and insist on tests.

But i already felt it about 7 years ago bcs when i feel tired/ less breath, i think i need a moment to break then i back to normal and think i'm getting older, it's normal right when u are getting older you are easily tired

My symptoms began 5 years ago and was told I had asthma. This week a CT scan revealed pulmonary hypertension as possible lung cancer (I have never smoked) - I have to wait 6 weeks before my next CT scan. I went 5 years without knowing I had this!

@@CiniMini69 Dry cough with no blood or phlegm. I was diagnosed with asthma and GERD back then and a nodule was found on my upper right lung that is still benign. But now something is showing on that same lung. I am a lifetime non smoker although my father smoked heavily. My right neck and shoulder were hurting and thenwent away. Idid not cough one time at the hospital when they kept me overnight for evThe doctor said I had pneummonia and did a COVID test that came back negative. If I had pneumonia with no fever it would be a miracle. I am on a journey that has consumed my emotions. I did not have pneumonia. If I did it was strange.

@@NoodlesEaton Hope you'll be good. But did you have chronic fatigue or dizziness in all these years? Or just the cough?

Sadly no, but they can help a little like not having much salt as it will make the fluid retention that comes with right heart failure. Obviously weight control is important as you need to retain a healthy weight. That is very difficult when you can’t breathe well enough to exercise. However there are special exercises you can do but it’s not the same as what a normal person would do

Seems like doctors want to wait for the worse to happen...almost death, and then they want to diagnose.
