There is much JOY...but there is so much PAIN as well. I have but one request in this life: that this song be played at my funeral. It touched my soul from the first day I heard it in 1989 while in university. I translated it to Spanish for my spouse whom I met in 1998. It still stirs deep emotions everytime I hear it. Merci Sarah pour ta voix sans égale et pour cette chanson en particulier.

I've followed Sarah since her humble beginnings (opening for The Grapes Of Wrath, Moev, etc.). I own everything she has ever produced, & would gladly pay 10 times for what it is all worth again. This is one of her song that always makes me thankful for what I have, & more so, all the friends & family that have passed on & are waiting in heaven. Sorry to sound like a cliché mini-novel, but like you, this is one of the songs that leaves me as well, speechless!

Her high voice is beautiful. I wish she still used it. A good example of it is in Fear, especially the Afterglow live version.
