I'm in my fifties now, but when I was in my 20s and doing my nurse training, I worked on a young disabled people's unit, and i was greatly impacted. As I'd only just finished a degree in design when I started nurse training, I was always fascinated by how good design and technology could assist daily living for the disabled. This is like seeing the dream of bionic limbs come into fruition. You just know that this technology will only go from strength to strength.

it has muscle sensors to detect movement (like tensing your muscles) and it uses that to move the fingers. im not sure if the hero arm works the exact same way (ik it has muscle sensors though) but the truelimb has different modes and you can tense up your muscles for a certain amount of time (like 2 seconds) and it'll switch the mode. that mode will have two grips. one with the thumb to the side and one with the thumb sort of down.
