I built a lake house in South Louisiana. I used a natural white oak flooring that matches yours. My only difference is my color basis is green. Down there the trees, the water, everything is green with little touches of colors from the birds and fish and just nature. Just like you I used the inspiration of what I see out the windows to pull inside. Thank you for everything. I have learned so much.

Sarah, I have loved this series so much. Your transformations are uplifting and just bring so much joy because you can see what a room should be as opposed to what it currently is. One of the things I loved most about this series is y’all sitting around the fireplace amidst a construction site. In the mid 60s, my parents moved from our in town house out to 12 acre country property. My dad, who was a natural architect, designed the addition that included a great room with a fireplace. He wanted the fireplace to be blackened, when we moved in. I have a wonderful memory of him sitting on saw bucks with the fireplace going. You really have given people a master class on how to design with your environment in mind. Thank you for this. It’s been an absolute blast. I’ve either had a glass of wine or had a cuppa coffee, depending on what you were sharing with us, the only thing missing is Tommy😍😍

I love everything about this house! I'm from Michigan originally and now reside in NW Ohio. We moved here due to the price of living. While it's much more affordable here, I so miss seeing lakes with ble water! All fresh water here looks like chocolate milk because of silt. Black water swamp area created a lot of silt. Anyhow, phenomenal job on the reimagining of this beautiful house! I have been watching since you started it and what an improvement with a LOT of work ❤
