Matching night stands is fine, it’s when the bed frame matches the nightstands, dresser etc. When all furniture matches in the room, is what they say to stay away from.

I would really love you to do a whole video on wallpaper. Prints, by colour, what style and size to pick for small to mid size rooms and coordinating paint colours. Great places to source good quality wallpaper and application tips. I have been searching for the right wallpaper for my hallway. I love blue, some shade of pink and teal or turquoise. Love roses but worried it would be too bedroomy looking. I guess I want drama but not too dark. Happy to show you my dilemma of so many doors. ❤ and find quality without a high price tag.

Hello Sarah! Awww just love all those tips you are sharing with us. Thank you so much! Just recently I’ve invested in white Egyptian cotton sheets, a white cotton duvet cover but am stuck in buying a duvet that I will love. My problem is, I’m a hot sleeper and already with my cotton sheet and 100% cotton quilt, it feels perfect. I have to remove the duvet top each night cause it’s too hot and too heavy on me. I do live in apartment and I do not need heat in my bedroom in the winter. Any suggestion for a year round duvet? I was thinking ‘silk’ but not sure…thanks Sarah! You’re the best! ❤

I always air my bed for about 30 minutes then it has to be made perfectly. I also could not get in an unmade bed, nor one that wasn’t smooth and inviting. I love when you change the bed and have that clean fresh sheet feeling. I always have white sheets and always ‘fluff’ my pillows every morning when making the bed. When I leave the bedroom I always look back and check that the bed looks perfect. My husband always laughs at me…

Such a master chef! I recognize your recipe in each of those delicious examples. 👩🏻🍳 Left me drooling! PS. Sateen girly here myself. Got hooked years ago on Wamsutta Elite Sateen which WAS* long staple combed American cotton (American gins are long gone* in 2024) and I have not found anything worthy of guest "STEALING" the sheets since. ("What was that bed?" followed by a stack of cash left on the bedside, and sheets missing REALLY happened). Perhaps your Brooklinen sateen is the ingredient omitted in my current recipe?

I am totally a percale sheet woman..just like grandma’s house. Now I live in southern Florida where we run the air conditioning 11.5 months a year & I have ceiling fans in each room. Our short “winter” is usually maybe the last 2 weeks in January & a week or two in early February. There is no way possible for me to have a duvet with down fill on my bed. I found a very light weight 100% cotton matelasse coverlet. I hate decorative pillows I have to remove from bed…where do you put the? I have been sleeping in Sateen sheets for about 15 years now. I will NOT buy ANY sheets but Sateen sheets, AND ONLY white sheets and towels for me. Several decades ago, I heard someone on TV say that you should NOT make your bed first thing in the morning, that you should let the bed air out. So I make my bed usually before I go to bed. I used to make it when I got home from work, but I'm retired now. What cozy is for me is that the end tables and lamps CANNOT match and are different materials, i.e. 1 wooden bedside table and the other is a round glass table. My lamps are different. I am NOT a matchy, matchy kinda gal ... looks too formal to me.
