"Long time no see" is a phrase that a lot of early Chinese Americans said because it's a Chinese phrase translated word by word into English, and while obviously grammatically incorrect, has become an accepted English phrase you say to someone.

I really enjoyed this video. Good stuff. 👍 And, for the record, in wrestling, the heel doesn't always lose. A heel will win just as often as a face (short for "babyface", which is the good guy). The term for a guy who is paid to lose is a "jobber". The purpose of a jobber is to put their opponent over. ("Putting over" means to make someone look good in the ring. i.e., put them over with the fans). In my opinion, pro wrestling is one of those things where the more you learn about it, the more interesting it becomes. People come to the Conan comment section for wrestling knowledge, right?

The Harlem Globetrotters have been beaten two or three times actually! Their opponents, while obviously meant to be the fall guys and be inept, are actually really competent players and though a lot of the games are planned, there are periods where they're playing some real basketball, and famously the Generals beat the Globetrotters in 1971 because the Globetrotters lost track of the game clock doing tricks and couldn't quite rally in time! The crowd was apparently distraught and the Generals players were made to feel as if they had shot Santa Claus 😅

Some reports say six,[12] while the team's official website reports having three victories over the Globetrotters, one each in 1954, 1958 and 1971.[13] The 1971 win is the most storied of these, and is sometimes reported as the team's sole victory.[2]"
