The fact is that with the huge amount of tactical voting that took place thanks to our unfair voting system it's virtually impossible to draw much of a conclusion about the real level of support for Labour, Lib Dems or Reform. It was an anti-Tory vote and that's all we can say for sure.

There are different forms of PR - France is different from The Netherlands for instance.
