It does sound like a double entendre. Regardless, it is a machine. It sprays hot water and detergent all around and hopefully gets your dishes clean in the process. They come in two varieties: with and without a disposal built in. With a disposal they work well if you scrape most of the food off then immediately run the dishwasher. Without the disposal they work best if you rinse the dishes first. If the unit is not run immediately it is advisable to pre-rinse the dishes regardless of the type of unit. Dried food is much harder to get off. In both cases, the proper loading is to not overload the machine. If the spray or spray wands are blocked it will not work correctly. There men (and women) that's how to run a dishwasher.

In her mind she is selecting a mate, even if it is just a recreational romp, so look like you can handle anything, fix anything, win any competition, confident but not arrogant or overbearing. Also be kind and nurturing to animals, children and the less fortunate in word and deed. It will be seen as being good father material, not weakness. Finally be generous, don't be cheap, let her have her own way as much as possible, and "win" conversations. That is easiest if you do not state a position on anything. Let her do that, just listen. Finally, if you do "Seal the deal", and want there to be a second time, make sure you are generous in bed. My plan was always to focus on her at the start. In the exact same way that porn can visually subvert sexual expectations in its viewers, which is more often than it isn't done by both men and women, a smut novel can fill the mind of its primary reader, which is only women, really, with similar, more societal expectations. A man may be misled to the idea that he has to have a 12 inch cock in order to have a good relationship with a woman, but what he isn't seeing is the heights those men go to in order to make it that way. Penis pumps and viagra use when it isn't actually needed in order to make them so large, a sword swallowing woman wouldn't be able to take them in her mouth, and would normally be painful for a woman to take vaginally or anally is seen as normal, when it isn't is one example of porn expectations, the idea of a man needing to be handsome, as muscular as a 1980's action hero, rich and powerful, have the mark of Cain, and be wildly sought after by women by the scores, but for some reason choosing you, that creates a few deep rooted relationship dynamic problems. I'm sure no one wants to read about ordinary people doing extraordinary things.... oh, wait, some do, but Lord of the Rings and the many other fantasy novels like it aren't the subject here, but anyway, it taps into the part of a person's psyche that wants something specific, often intimate. I have interceded on the behalf of others for much of my life with no expectation of reward or even a thank you, as an example. One thing I have wanted to experience, even if just once, is to have someone intercede on my behalf as selflessly as I have. I'm 50 now, and I doubt that will ever happen, but it would be nice. I like reading stories of others doing that, especially for children or animals, but I don't see a connection between that and porn or smut, as an example. But I'm also single, and even though I am done looking for some soul mate or partner, or companion, or whatever, in the deepest regions of my mind are suppressed feelings of what it was like when I did have that, and how it might be nice once more. I'm sure a story of timeless love or dedication might trip the switch on that part and make it an enjoyable read, as well. But stories that could strike chords on impressionable readers who desperately want those relationships for themselves may end up enjoying the story until the last page and dream of that being for them, and feeling cheated when it never happens. It might actually be a worthy subject for research. You never know...

It's not so much that women are complicated, it's just that they are inconsistent. Their desires and mood can fluxuate greatly. So if you find something that a woman really likes and wants, at another time she may want nothing to do with it because she's just not in the mood. And each woman is unique, so learning what works with one woman can be useless for another. Figuring out a woman reminds me of the movie the Cube from 1997. In the movie, each room has 6 sides. There's traps behind some of doors but not others. You have to figure out the mathematical pattern to know which door will be a trap and which will be safe. Then they have to find their way out of the gauntlet, as one door out of the entire complex will lead to escape. The only problem, is that the "contestants" or whatever didn't take into account that the entire maze was shifting like a giant rubick's cube. So not only did they have to figure out which ones were safe, they also had to figure out when the outer cubes would shift so they could line up with the exit. And if you didn't get out of the exit in time, it shifted and you were still stuck.

I'll weigh in on this since I posted above on #2, which is essentially hypergamy, or the evolved biological/psychological instinct that attracts women to high-status, powerful, successful men. Occupation has a lot to do with it. The more admired, respected, and high-paying a man's occupation is the more sexual market value "points" he gets. Many women look down at men in the trades. And why hypergamy tends to manifest by women requiring that a partner be equal or higher than her in socioeconomic status. And it creates situations like in the medical field where female nurses have one of the highest rates of marital infidelity. If the nurse is married to a plumber and is hit up by a doctor she works with in a high stress environment, the temptation for her is often too great.

Here’s a quick thought on why men don’t go deeper into the emotional connection conversation with women. It’s a similar reason as to why women don’t want to know about why their car broke, how to rebuild an engine, or how most mechanical things work. Not all women are this way, I understand. She's probably feeling emotionally neglected. Foreplay also matters, especially outside of the bedroom. Brief non-sexual touches, hugs & kisses, being attentive, not accusing her of nagging if she's asking for something or treating her like a burden when she expresses something. When you do want to initiate sex, go slow & treat her body like you want to savor it. Some guys will make the mistake of going straight for the breasts or groin which makes a woman feel like you're trying to press some "get sex now" button. It's actually more of a turn off & makes the whole experience feel cheap & hollow. Also, ask her what she needs from you & genuinely listen to what she says.

It seems like she's relagating Sex with you to a Chore and that is very bad (toxic). When is the last time you knew who her friends are? When is the last time you talked about the stressors in her life? When is the last time you spent sexless intimate time together just because you could? The way to a Woman's heart is through the Ear - Spend more time talking to her and listening (without attempting to solve). So absolute yes to all the things you listed. @justacoginthefkery I already do all of the cooking (I really like to cook and she loves my cooking) and I do the dishes, laundry, play with the kids, kiss and hug her, tell her she is pretty, etc. All while working 50+ hours a week. I'm not looking for compliments, but I do try to show her that she doesn't have to do anything alone. But, I had to tell her that if she wants or needs help, she has to tell me because I can not always tell if there is anything wrong... the last few weeks, I feel she has definitely improved in that she has told me that she feels happier.
