Roy Clark could play anything with strings on it. He's underrated because he's a Country Singer along with Glen Campbell, Jerry Reed & Chet Atkins...to name just a few. These people make it look easy. They are legends.

I remember Roy primarily from a show called "Hee Haw", if I am not mistaken (and if I am the others here will be sure to let me know!). He was a great entertainer and a super talented and extremely underrated guitarist! Thanks for another great reaction, Sarah!!

Roy Clark was one of THE best guitar players in the world, but his talent was overlooked by many because he was primarily a country western artist, and many of his appearances had comic overtones.

Roy Clark was a great entertainer, humble man & super talented. He was both a singer & musician. His guitar & banjo playing are legendary. A lot of musicians & artists today could learn a lot from his style & technique. Glen Campbell was also an underrated guitarist. But these men paved the way for a lot of musicians today.

Roy is a master of many instruments, a man with many talents ( singing, playing, comedy, acting and just be overall entertaining guy. his guitar skill should be mentioned with the likes of SRV, Eddie VanHalen, and many others

Clark's funny version of the famous Johnny Cash song. There is a another live version on here where he plays with John...and plays on his boot. And Cash can hardly hold it together from laughing. You should hei that out, too. And the Luther Clark refers to here is Johns guitarist Luther Perkins who sadly died in a house fire in 1868.
