Yay! Sara Lavanda en Español. I love it! Your Spanish is so good. I used to feel so insecure when speaking English (I still do, a little). I did not want to look dumb. There are certain words that I just can’t pronunciate correctly. The best tip I can give you came from a teacher when I took an English pronunciation class at the community college: “Don’t worry so much about the mistakes you make, do not let that stop you from speaking, and from being yourself. English will always be your second language and everyone who hears you speak will know that. Most people will not judge you negatively, quite the oposite. People will admire the fact that you can speak another language.” The video itself is so relaxing and felt many tingles. Specially with words with the letter T and C. And the tapping of course 😊
@SarahLavenderASMR2 жыл бұрын
Thank you Bertha!! 🥺💕 it's super hard to not feel insecure, but like your teacher said, I try to remind myself that having an accent and making mistakes just indicates you can speak two languages, which is amazing!! it's how I try to think of it :) plus i love how accents sound, they usually give me real life ASMR haha

I can agree babbel is a great language learning app. Way better than duolingo I would add. The bird app used to be great, now with all the stuff they’ve taken away to make freemium, it’s great at making you think you are learning a language. And I recently stopped an 83 day streak (not much I know) and dropped out of emerald league because I felt I wasn’t learning anything. With Babbel I feel like I’m learning things and I actively recall more of my target language (spanish) even with my dyslexia getting in the way of my learning. A key difference is in babbel you practice your mistakes, in duo you pay for your mistakes.
