The Axe Fx doesn't ruin their "organic" tone. The tonal difference of a Strandberg vs say an RGA8 is pretty vast (i've played both through my axe fx) The Strandberg has a very full, dynamic and unique, almost semi-hollow body quality to it that you're not ever going to get out of an RGA8 no matter what you do. And I personally think the Axe Fx (ESPECIALLY the clean tones) do it more than justice. Those guitars don't cost money to be used any specific way other than how the buyer intends
