Sarah, our Mina said it all. You have amazing skills and mastery over the techniques! You made me laugh when you said that you needed to attach your torch to your hip! I envisioned you with a leather gun-style holster slung low on your hips, over the top of your infamous sweater (of course!), and at least two torches in the holster. Just remember to turn off the torch before you re-holster them, so you don't scare the cats or burn down the kitchen! Sending you much love and big hugs ~Cheryl

In this piece I did not put satin enamel in the base. It is not necessary to have satin enamel in the base

Great job! You know what, after you finished the pour it seemed like your measurements (32oz cup of paint plus base coat) for a 36x36 canvas were just enough for the actual 30x30 canvas! If you actually had a 36x36 canvas, how many ounces of paint and base coat would you have used? Thanks!

I’m going to do a string pull piece for a 36x36 and I was going to do 9oz for 3 colors (3oz per color) and 36.50oz of white base paint for a total of 45.50oz of paint…so I think I’m in the right range based on your reply!
