Could you tell me if the Katie the Catsitter books are geared heavily towards girls, or would a boy enjoy them too? My son likes the Bad Kitty graphic novels. The Katie books may be a bit advanced for him. He is in kindergarten, but is reading several grade levels ahead. He loves kitties.

I don't think they're particularly geared to only girls. I think that anyone who loves cats and/or superheroes would enjoy them! My youngest LOVES Diary of a Wimpy kid and never feels like that series is only meant for boys even though the main leads are male characters. This is just the reverse where the main characters are all girls.
