Nobody should get offended, we all have different noses and it depends very much on skinchemistry too 👍 I love and have flowerbomb, la nuit tresor a la folie, Jimmy choo edp, la vie est belle intensement and so on..I loved this video and need a part two 🤣 you should try Sofia vergara sofia edp I have it and it's gorgeous! It has a little bit of Coco mademoselle but it's waay better IMO!!!

Great video! We all have different tastes and perfume is so subjective. I am one of the rare ones who never liked Baccarat Rouge 540. To me, all I could smell was the scent of a dental office, and I work in one! I definitely didn’t want to smell like that. Most of the scents on your list I don’t like either. They were just meh. I agree with the comment below asking for a Part 2 to this video…I would also love to see a “unpopular fragrances I love” video. Another type of video I think would be really fun (especially bc I’m a history buff) is a “Scenting History” or “Scenting Historical Figures” video…you could do the Tudors (Henry VIII, Anne Boleyn, Margaret Beaufort, etc). That would be so much fun! This was so fun!

Sarah this is exactly why I watch your Channel! With just a couple exceptions Every Single One here has been a bad experience for me. I listened to reviewers who said that these are basics for your fragrance wardrobe and I tried them, and none of these work for me. I like your comments about the perfumes that are generic or fruit-chouli; I get the same feeling. Like going to Ulta and smelling a whole row of perfumes that are all just meh. The only exceptions are that I have Lovely and its wearable and pretty but doesn't last very long. And I have Dossier's version of Good Girl, which is a very nice easy reach fragrance for me. I could have happily listened to you talking about this for twice as long! I don't have the same love for vanilla and super sweet perfumes that you do but I seem to have the same reaction to lancome (apart from old ones like Poeme!), fruitchouli's and Narciso Rodriguez! Also soooo fussy about peach and hate syrupy peach! It's funny because you named every single one of another youtubers most loved perfumes (love her videos and watch regularly but her taste is pretty much the opposite of mine) so this video makes it easier to work out if I should try things or not. I found it super helpful and I was nodding for a lot of it 😂

I agree with you on all of these perfumes!! They are all lovely creations but not for me.I also tried Miss Dior 2017 reformulation...so much fruitchouli!! However, Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet is beautiful, it is a rose scent. I am currently collecting more vintage scents and some Avon classics, they work better with my chemistry. Great video! I have never tried a Versace fragrance that I liked. Absolutely hate the crystal bottles, they smell very synthetic to me- turns bug spray on me- Dylan Blue absolute bug spray.

Nectar works much better on me and I finally finished Flowerbomb Dew. I got lucky with the Versaces!! But I absolutely understand that some scents just dont work for people. Thanks for mentioning the Clinique Happy b/c I really really hated that perfume lol. I'll be honest...the modern version of Happy is actually decent- like they definitely tamed it a little- in comparison to the 90s which was extremely strong way too strong. I also could not stand Donna Karan Cashmere Mist I'm sorry to say. That scent bombarded me so much in my youth & I grew to hate it.

So you have me thinking, your fragrance profile is similar to mine minus the sweet so I actually pay more attention to the items you don't love, but it got me thinking about popular perfumes I don't like, I don't understand how burnt surgar is a desired scent like people say cloud is, of. Bkr 540. I don't get black opium, I loved the OG opium I just don't get all the flankers. So I am going to say it I hate all cherry 🍒 fragrances. I adore eating fresh cherries but I don't want to smell like a pie. Cherry is more of a taste for me than a scent. I know it's not popular to say but I really like the powdery overpowering heavy fragrances. So how about a video about unpopular loves. Do you have any perfumes you love that others love to hate?

I think it’s so true what you said about gaining confidence in your perfume likes and dislikes. Sometimes you feel obligated to like something just because everyone else does. I do have to say that I am a lover of LVEB and Lancôme fragrances, but agree they can come off very synthetic. I think I like them because they are intensely strong and I have a hard time finding fragrances that last on my skin and theirs do. I also like extremely sweet fragrances, and apparently patchouli in fragrance, because I also love Coco Mad. But we are all entitled to our preferences and know what works for us and what doesn’t. I agree with you on the Billie Eilish fragrance. I want to love it because I like her music and like the bottle. But I find it unsatisfying and not well blended. And I’m also so over the BR 540 hype. I honestly think Ariana Grande Cloud, or even BBW In the Stars, is essentially the same for a fraction of the price. How do you feel about Black Opium? That’s another popular one that I’m not sure I’ve heard you mention, but maybe I missed it. I love Black Opium too, but think all the flankers are ridiculous. And the original is still the best to me. This was an interesting video. Thanks for sharing!

Oh my my mom just got mea mini of bright crystal. It HORRIBLE to me. But you suggested lavender by Oscar and I didn't care for it at all. But you also suggested the Burberry one (the one that smells like a new mom the name is escaping Me) and that is one of my top 5 now!

Such an interesting video. It is unbelievable how polarizing fragrances can be. Something that smells heavenly to one person can smell like garbage to another. This always makes me unsure if I should wear perfume at all for some occasions, job Interviews & first dates for example. The choice of perfume can make or break the first impression, and it's even worse if perfume evokes a bad physical reaction with the other person as for example a turning stomach or a headache.

I must agree , the Versace Eros pour femme is very basic smelling …BUT the eau de toilette is fantastic!! . Very fresh clean citrus , absolutely beautiful. I was very confused because the EDT is much stronger then the parfum . I recommend you trying the EDT!!! If you like AL Rehab sabaya you’d like EDT of Eros. BR540 is absolutely nauseating to me … it’s literally overdone and hyped , I completely feel the same way you do .

I really enjoyed this video. Some of the frags mentioned are my fav to wear & some of them u mentioned, I feel the same way about. I really fell in love with BB Her Intense & got to like BB Her after a while. Then I found Go Fruity by Zara & it's so close to BB Her Intense but with a bright citrus note (to my nose) but I can not smell those scents right now. Maybe because this is definitely not the season but I just can't. U mentioned MJ Perfect, which I like. I have a travel spray & fragrance body oil but don't see myself paying the price, so maybe I'll give the Dossier version a try🤔.

I do like Lancome LaVie a Belle, Baccarat, Angel Nova and Burberry Her. However I agree with you on all the others. All of Lancome fragrances smell like Raid on me, (except LaVie)! Mostly for me, if they design clothes, I don't like their fragrances. Versace, Jimmy Choo, YSL, Victor & Rolf, Valentino, Gucci... I do like Guerlain Mon Guerlain and Hermes Amber Nargille, but that is about it with the clothing designers.

Great video sarah! im with you im totally bored of modern designer fragrances getting pumped out left right and centre with the same four notes over and over and then out come the intense edition then the leau then the parfum then the nuit god its annoying. I was a fragrance consultant in a big department store and my god if i had to smell sauvage, 1 million, mon guerlain, jimmy choo, flowerbomb, good girl any more i would have combust haha! i suppose it was my job to promote the most popular ones....sadly i would have much preferred the likes of salvador dali and lailique fragrances instead haha!

I can smell the dupes of BKR 540 everywhere, especially those of Zara brand, even boys of 15/16 years, who work in shops that fill boxes spray so much 🤣. it's just not special anymore. (And no there is nothing wrong with filling boxes) only you expect that if you go to a party that you should smell it there. thanks for your honesty Sarah. I don't like many of those scents either. but luckily many others perfumes i do, so no loss here.😃

You should try 2 perfumes,one is burberry her edt a beautiful pear note and the other Narciso rodriguez musc noir rose, very different from the line,I love it! Also if you want to get your nose on a niche house I'm into lately which has great prices is theodoros kalotinis, he has a discovery set which is so worth it.his fragrances are beautiful ,2 of my favs are coffee addict and jasmins of athens.also you can always catch a sale but they are priced great anyway!you have to get your nose on them!fyi!❤️💯

I really like these kinds of videos! I have the same opinion of many of these. Narciso Rodriguez uses a musk that I'm anosmic to so everything I've tried smells really sharp or like it's missing something. La Vie est Belle has never done anything for me, along with Delina. The one I really detest that others seem to love is the OG Chloe. BR540 extrait is in my top 10 for life, though ❤

These fragrances mostly smell so generic and ‘perfumee’ that I also can’t be bothered any more.I believe the moment we try some niche fragrances our perception about what a good perfume is, is changing dramatically. There are so many masterpieces out there nowadays and boutique perfumes simply can’t keep up with the competition.

Wow, some of these perfumes I've never tried but the majority of the ones I have smelt, I agree with. Baccarat Rouge and the Extrait smell amazing for an hour or so on me, then it turns to smelling like wood and dirt. I'm not a fan of patchouli perfumes and Flowerbomb and Jimmy Choo in particular don't do well with my nose. I loved The One but recently it is just too sharp for me.

Bright Crystal is indeed very bland to my nose. Eros is weird, too🤣 Dylan Blue smells like a sweaty man who used cologne to cover the smell. Dylan Turquoise is far superior💜. Flowerbomb is a no-go. Reb'l Fleur hurts my nose😄 i just bought a 50 ml of Burberry Her. its lovely to me. The One is fabulous and NR Her is just okay. The pear in Mon Paris offended me to the max! Clinique Happy is horrible. Angel Nova is a clunky mess. Great video Sarah!

I used to wear it constantly and now I want to be as far away from that smell as possible. I have a friend who wears many of the Versace perfumes (Dylan Blue/Eros pour femme/Yellow Diamond etc...) and they all smell amazing on her skin. But on ME, no way. I have to agree with you on all of these perfumes. but NR for Her edp I do like that one. :) Here is my top list of perfumes I just gag whenever I smell them... every La vie est Belle, Delina and Delina Exclusif, Flowerbomb, Bon Bon, Britney Spears Fantasy, Eilish, J Lo Glow, Mon Paris, every Valentino scent..., every Kilian scent..., Angel Mugler and every flanker, pretty much every Victoria's Secret perfume or body spray....😂😅

I struggle with tuberose and find the only house I can enjoy their tuberose is givenchy. I find armani my way makes me gag. Its repulsive. I do however looove angel nova edp. I haven't tried the edt though

We may have the same preference in perfumes. I haven't smelled all of the perfumes that you mentioned, but those that I have, I didn't like too. I recently got Armani Si passione intense and like it though. The hype around BR 540 was something I didn't get either. I bought a sample size and really tried to like it. I don't like the mugler perfumes.😅 I recently got the Angel Iced Star because of the vidoes I watched. I live in a tropical country and the perfume is nothing like our coconuts and pineapples.

I agree with you on almost all of these. Sometimes someone will compliment me on a perfume I'm wearing and they'll ask what it is and sometimes I'll explain that I collect perfumes (if they've never heard of what I'm wearing) n that it's a hard to find one or whatever the case may be. Several times lately, the person will ask if I like BR540. I think when people hear that you're into perfumes or that you collect them, they assume that you must love BR540 because it's so hugely popular. I can't STAND BR540 LOL. That gosh darned saffron. I just can't with saffron. I agree with you on almost every single one of these. I do like LaNuit Tresor (but only like 3x in the cold winter months, anything more is too much), Burberry Her, My Way, Coco Mademoiselle. I haven't smelled Billie Ellish but that darn bottle alone...😭, Olympia n Born in Roma are on my list of ones I haven't smelled but I think I'll like. Nova has an oud note I believe which means I'll hate it so no point in testing LOL and Perfect I don't really care to smell. Bonbon smells like it's missing something n I'm not sure what it is. Voce Vita, 100% agree with you. #5, Eek! No thank you!! I have a Badgley Mischka one in a purple bottle n it has coconut as a note n it is probably one of my most hated because I was sold a lie LOL-it's generic as heck n smells like a mashup of Bright Crystal, RL Romance n some Narciso Rodriguez so in other words-BORING!! And with NO COCONUT!! That's what I get for blind buying. 😐 Another awesome video Sarah!!! I'd love a part 2 to this! Now I'm off to watch your vintage collection video 😁. ❤️.

I agree on all these except Flowerbomb, Dylan Blue, Perfect and Good Girl. Good girl does smell like grandma but I still like it idk why 😂. I love these kinds of vids!!!

So many hard agrees. Would add "Black Opium" to this list. Coffee notes just do not work for me. I agree that Good Girl is just not blended well. I also liked the bottle and would want to love the perfume, but a big no for me. I owned VR Flowerbomb when it first came out. This is a case of liking perfume when purchasing but changing your mind after the purchase. It was a novel profile at the time, which would subsequently generate many clones. I felt compelled to finish the bottle, which I did, but never repurchased. I own Chanel No. 5 and Mademoiselle Stopped wearing both because grew tired, and Mademoiselle was everywhere at the time. I think Chanel No. 5 is the queen of Aldehydes, but I am moved away from that scent profile, at least for now. I was able to smell many of the new releases you mentioned and I do agree, simple generic, mostly inoffensive, nice profile, but nothing memorable or outstanding the pay retail. The popularity of Lancome La Vie Est Belle is a mystery to me (so much sugar), although I think that many of the purchases are gifts by people based on the ads, which are everywhere. I remember when Clinique Happy was everywhere and I also did not get the hype.

I agree with a lot of these. Nova went straight up bug spray for me. 🤢 I am glad I'm not alone about Good Girl. I always say the notes make it seem like it should be right up my alley, but somehow it's super gross to me. Definitely a couple I was surprised about here but all of our noses are different. 🤷‍♀️ I love A La Folie and Nude but I'm with ya on the OG La Nuit Tresor. PS: I get a little jealous when I smell things on others that didn't work for me but smell amazing on them. 😂

You and I are soo similar! This is almost the same as my list of dislikes! With the exception of BR540. But do try the Coco Mad EDT. It’s fresher, crisp and has lychee in it. I think it’s much better than the current version of the EDP which is soo weird and reformulated :/

Hm, I loved that one in the 90s and recently saw it while shopping with my fiance, went to show him, and was so disappointed. Wrinkled my nose, and just thought my tastes had changed. Told him, that's not what I remembered. Thanks for saying they changed it.

to be honest, ive never smelt a perfume that actually repulsed me, but rather there are a LOT which bore me. I agree with a lot of these, despite the fact that I like youthful sweet fruity type scents, but im still quite picky lol

La Vie Est Belle was a snooze fest on me. I BLIND bought a full bottle, and damn nearly fell asleep with it. My skin was bored with it, and it wore so poorly on me.

Hi there! I don’t. I’m not a fan of many of the Narciso line. I do really enjoy Musc Noir, Pure Musc and the original Musc oil but not any of the others. ❤️
