I think Abbey Yung has said that a lot of shampoos that are "volume" are also deeper cleansing like a clarifying shampoo! I might try one of those soon.

The lettering coming off of the Paula’s Choice may be due to the humidity and heat in the air :) from what I can tell from your videos, you moved to a much more humid state than you used to live in. The humidity and heat in the South is UNGODLY and ruins the adhesive that certain brands use to glue lettering to their packaging. That may also be why you never had an issue before!

Great video! My daughter with extremely long thick oily hair has dandruff issues. What's been working for her is to use 2 different shampoos every time. First she uses a clarifying shampoo and then she follows it with a dandruff one I found at the Dollar Tree that has pyrothirone zinc. We're relieved we found a solution.

I would agree with you about the soft water thing, every time that I visit my family that has a water softener I feel like I’m covered in soap slime after I shower. It’s gross.. I know some people love it tho.. to each their own I guess 🤷♀️

For those with sensitive skin, I highly recommend the Cetaphil Gentle Clear Complexion-Clearing BPO Acne Cleanser. It has a very short list of ingredients and contains 2.6% micronized benzoyl peroxide which is said to be less irritating than regular benzoyl peroxide. I still only use it in the shower because I'm afraid of bleaching my towels, but I find it to be effective and gentle on the skin. It also does not lather. I highly recommend the Essence Hello, Good Stuff Glow Serum Primer (the alleged "dupe" for the Glow Recipe Dew Drops)! I actually use it as a mixer in my foundations and I definitely notice it helps my makeup stay fresh-looking longer. It's also ~$6 so you can't lose! The EOS Cashmere Shave Butter smells like cheesecake to me! I was happy to see they have come out with a shave oil in this line (I saw it at Target). I absolutely love the Tree Hut Tropic Glow shave oil; it's my holy grail! Abbey Yung is my hair guru. LOL She recommends the Pantene Volume & Body shampoo for a deep cleansing/clarifying shampoo!

I love the Egyptian Magic Cream. It's really good for all dry zones, lips, elbows, dry patches. Makes everything so soft. Maybe you like it, too?

I love glow Recipe watermelon glow… I recently left it at my mom’s when I went to visit and I am missing it. I used it like a moisturizer.

I always use a leave in conditioner and I find it works better than the conditioners used in the shower. I love the mini reviews.

That Dove shampoo made my daughter's dandruff 100% worse - her hair was so greasy and flaky, ugh! I think it's just meant for dry scalps, but because it uses the same active ingredient - and because people don't know the difference between dandruff and dry scalp - they've chosen to market it with the dandruff shampoos. 😕 She has done best with the lemon Head and Shoulders. (I don't normally buy from them, but this is a medical issue! I may need to go the prescription route with her.)

Hey, I think that product is pronounced "Au-zee" or "Ozzie". Aussie is slang for Australia, and the kangaroo is Australian too, and Aussie is pronounced "Ozzie". More of a z sound than an s sound :)

Be careful with the Dove body products. I developed a sensitivity to all dove soaps and lotions after using their products to cleanse and moisturize. It was my go to for over a year, but suddenly I started getting rashes on my underarms going down my sides. It was really sudden.

I always appreciate you doing this in categories 😊 I've never tried a Revolution mascara (which is weird cause I've tried almost all other products from them 😅) I have used up 9,5 makeup products this year (the half is a large sample) where 8 of them was opened in 2023 😊 And I've used up 5 skin care products which are crazy they've finished around the same time cause most got opened last summer 😀

It really is funny how subjective sent is because I use that glypolid cream cleanser. I passed it around to multiple people and we all said it smells like cilantro.

Did you ever figure out what ingredient was in the lip products that was bothering your throat? I know lanolin is something that people can get allergic to.. if you're looking for a good volumizing/clarifying shampoo, herbal essences white grapefruit and mint works well and smells amazing.. honestly even if it did bad things for my hair, I'd still be tempted to use it because of how good it smells 😂

Hi Sarah, have you tried the Naturium phyto-glow lip balm? I have chronically chapped lips and it is the only lip balm that has helped improve the condition of my lips. I have only got the clear one but I am now tempted to try the tinted ones too on days I wear a bit more makeup

Most of the lip products that bother me don’t contain lanolin!

is there a reason you use tretinoin, apart from anti ageing? I have sensitive skin too and for me it's a trend that's too harsh and it just breaks my skin barrier, even the gentle ones. There are plenty of products that are smoothing and anti geing that aren't retinoids
