I heard storing perfumes in places that don’t receive sunlight helps preserve them so maybe you could set a drawer for the perfume but storing them on top of the vanity is also v aesthetic and your collection will eventually grow as well. Just a thought ! And I think of my colourpop super shock highlighter as a cream since I apply it w my hands or a wet beauty sponge

Oh my god! Heidi! 😂😂 My jaw had dropped when I saw her squeeze into the space behind the drawer. How did she get into it and not even get hurt is astounding! I was also thinking, that if you want to change up the palette drawer, there are these organisers specifically for palettes that work as dividers. You could try stacking palettes vertically then maybe, if those organisers fit vertically into the drawer.

Lol @Heidi! When we moved we had a cat do that and was in there for three or four hours before we found her. We'd looked all over the house, and had been outside calling for her. We were so relieved when we heard her meowing! It took us a bit to realize she was behind a drawer.

You could hang a little basket from the railing in the deepest drawer and make use of that space in that way. :) This was so relaxing!

Something I love using as an organizer, esp for lip products, that can be found on the cheap is a silverware organizer

Loved the video! Little tip when it comes to changing the liners: it will be easier to get the drawers out of the chest and line them that way, then pop them back in. Also, might be useful for the lipsticks to get those lipstick organisers that keep them upright! I can't be fussed to dig through them while laying down, so that is how I store mine and the organisers keep them in place. For the vertical space in the deep drawers, the only idea I can think of, is getting some racks that let you stack products on top, but that limits the visibility on the bottom. It is indeed a hard one. Love that thrift find and kitties are always appreciated!!!

Heidi😹😹 i love that you captured that on film. I have a pretty small makeup collection, i can store it in a Caboodle. I keep a basket in my bathroom cupboard for everyday use, but i enjoy having a smaller collection to use. Your collection looks very curated with plenty of room to grow if you want it to.

Hi Sarah! I was thinking for the 3rd drawer you could put toiletry bags or small travel bags, maybe? If you don't have a space for them yet! But it is SO satisfying to see how minimal/curated your collection is currently while still having room to grow. Loved this vlog style video & seeing the kitties, ps- Heidi was so precious!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on Blueland! I bought the starter set few weeks ago but I've only needed the laundry tablets and bathroom cleaner so far. If anyone is curious about another person's experience: I find the bathroom cleaner smells like bubblegum and it's off-putting to me. The sprayer for that bottle also sticks a little, and my hands get tired from spraying it tbh. The laundry detergent is fine for normal washing. It's not very effective for gym clothes or towels, in my experience. I'm conflicted because I really want to like them. I'm still excited to try the multi-purpose and glass cleaners when I use up my old ones. I don't think I will repurchase the bathroom cleaner, however. I'll wash out the bottle and use it for something else 🤷🏻‍♀️

the bathroom cleaner does smell odd!! to me it just smells really sterile, like something they'd use to clean a doctor's office lol. I do like the multi-surface scent the best though. And I completely forgot to mention because it had been a couple weeks since I'd used it, but the glass cleaner smells WEIRD and not in a good way haha

You could possibly get a little shelf riser from the dollar tree or homegoods and can use the space on top of the riser and beneath in the bottom drawer :)

There seem to be metal rods in the last drawer, could you rest or hook another tray or container on those to create a couple layers in the drawer? Palettes on the bottom and then smaller eye items in the top layer...? Heidi! So inquisitive... Good thing you realised she was there...

I think a lot of it comes down to what brushes you’re using bc it affects how targeted/diffused they look, helps placement, etc. If you don’t want the hassle, one and done eyeshadows are always classic!

What a find! Those drawers will provide nice storage for you, but they are not too big either. I have seen those drawers in other videos where the units are really tall. This one looks just right.
