Hi Sarah, I too have a Shih Tzu. I know how much we as a pet parent love our fur babies. I am pretty sure he will recover soon from Tick fever and there comes this medicine which we need to give to a dog every 3 months Fluralaner chewable tablets which is given as per body weight. This guarantee that tick will not come close to the dogs for 3 months and then repeat the process. I have been giving this medicine with doctors approval and touch wood he has been safe. Yes I would coz a rug would change out once a year, since I didn’t splurge on a coffee table - A good thick handwoven rug which is useful for my dog and even me coz I love sitting on the floor - this is a better purchase than a 50k coffee table

Totally relate to you Sarah. I lost my Hachiko all of a sudden because of kidney and liver failure. He was such a jolly one and all of a sudden I lost him. My life is not the same without him. He is my everything. However I pray for Fudge since it's an early diagnosis I hope he will gets well soon. And miracles do happen. He will get well soon don't worry. ❤❤❤ God bless Fudge. Hey Sarah, Fudge will be fine, I am an animal lover and rescuer, if u remember meeting me at greet n meet, here are some points for u for Fudge: 1. Start Renal food, its specifically for CKD patients. 2. Opt for homeopathy, it has helped my 13 year old with CKD, creatinine remains stable. 3. Blood tests regularly so u can keep checking values, if they are normal. 4. Scooby DubDub is a powder for dogs for ticks, it doesn't have any side effects. As Fudge is now diagnosed with CKD u can't put spot on or tablet for ticks. 5. Low protein diet, no chicken, no fish. Pls don't worry Fudge will be fine.
