In norway the pregnant woman goes on m.leave 3 weeks before the duedate (mandatory). Then the mother have 15 weeks, 16 weeks can be for the mother or partner, then 15 weeks for the partner. All 100% paid if you were working befor the m.leave :)

I live in the US ... I worked up til week 40 for both of my pregnancies 😁 was in the office the day before I gave birth for both babies. And both babies were 9 pounds 5 ounces so I was waddling for sure. 1st baby I took 15 months off of work (technically stay at home mom) 2nd baby I took 12 weeks maternity leave. Just do what is best for you and babes 😍
