That heat gun is made specifically for model aircraft covering. It should work well for what you are doing tho. But it may not get as hot as a regular heat gun.

I’m curious why you didn’t go with higher amp power batteries, less batteries. In thinking about my own bill right now I am leaning towards only using two batteries but making them 3 to 400 amp hour batteries each. I know they’re expensive and I know they exist, but I’m wondering why you didn’t.

I bought these because it has a heated option and they can stack on their side to fit in the space. But both are great options! It really depends on your needs & the space you are going to fit it in
