A lot of these are specifically college student / early 20’s things which makes sense cuz you’re 20. Some of the things that hit me later (mid 20’s): Having to clean your own kitchen and bathroom Having to fix things in your house when they break taxes Dealing with Comcast and other service providers without the help of your parents Paying for your pets’ medical care Paying for your own medical care Paying for stuff in general that you don’t want to (water bill, electric bill, etc) Taking your car to the shop / dealer on your own Getting car insurance or any kind of insurance on your own Getting a loan on your own Planning a trip on your own (flight, hotel, etc) Moving in with a boyfriend / girlfriend Going through a breakup where you live with the person
