Absolutely. Finance wise of course you give stuff up for sure... but in terms of quality of life and such, far superior here.

My parents are from Bosnia but I was born and raised in Canada. I'm moving to Bosnia this November for good. Canada is not the same Canada I grew up in, Trudeau destroyed it.
@JayandSarah3 ай бұрын
@@citrine6469 well, nothing is the same as when people grew up in it. The people our age in B&H aren't living in the same place it was when they group up either. Not sure how old you are, but I think many factors have changed Canada... and government policy under Trudeau can be considered as one of them.

I have to admit, you made me very hungry and I feel like that yummy goulash. You guys are brave walking around in that heat for so long. I've heard it has finally changed there and it will be around 20'es. Thinking about moving to these parts of Europe. Australia is no longer fun. Enjoy and thank you.

Just wondering which city is more interesting / enjoyable to visit - Sarajevo or Belgrade ? I am guessing- Belgrade ? 😊
@JayandSarah3 ай бұрын
Belgrade is much larger, that is for sure. Given an option of returning to only one of them, I would go to Sarajevo.

We used to have 11 McdoNALDS LOCATIONS IN bOSNIA but they closed them all down because people didnt like it.
@JayandSarah3 ай бұрын
There was pretty good demand in Sarajevo. The problem presented across the country is the cost of McDonald's compared to local food. The food was expensive for the country. The country isn't wealthy enough to support much in the way of international chains. Looks at BK in Mostar as an example.

(a) It's not a trip. Trips you go home from. We have no home to go back to. (b) Nobody "gave" us money, we earned it. Thanks for watching!

stop saying turkish ice cream its bosnian ice cream, you are in bosnia not turkey
@JayandSarah3 ай бұрын
There is standard ice cream in the old town, like gelato.. and then there is actually a Turkish ice cream seller. You can call it what you like, across the balkans the exact same setup exists... this is Turkish ice cream. Whether is is in Herceg Novi, Montenegro.. Sarajevo, B&H or Skopje, Macedonia. The development of this type of ice cream, the traditional stand and outfit, and the games the vendor plays with the customer... originates as a Turkish thing.
