Enter the Void is one of the most brilliant films of all time. It's so many layers of brilliance that I couldn't believe it the first time I saw it. This guy is a true original and a genius.

I have a reproduced copy of Gaspar's script for Enter The Void. It is by far on of the strangest scripts I've read and breaks all the rules relative to conventional screenplay formatting, and yet is so authentic to what we see in the film (despite some narrative changes). I think his work truly speaks for itself because I doubt any other filmmaker could get a film financed with a script like that. A real testament to why he's my favorite filmmaker of all time.

World needs more creative producers because movie story and originality is fading. Enter The Void was one of best movies watched and I hope to see continuation.

The sound design in Enter the Void added so much to the surreal, out of body, experience of watching it. Brilliant beyond comparison.

I felt very similar watching this movie, and watching Synecdoche, New York. Both were extremely anguishing and sent me into spirals of confusion and depression afterwards. However, both forced me to grow and confront my deepest anxieties about death and the loss of the self and personality. Great film, incredible director.

To be honest, "Trainspotting meets 2001 meets Mulholland Drive" isn't actually that much of a stretch for the final product. It's certainly got a lot in common with all of them: the desperation and rock-bottom dejection and carnality of Trainspotting, the spiritual odyssey & rebirth of 2001, and the feverish, paranoiac jealousy and reality-splitting imagination of Mulholland Drive.

Top 1, i have not since watching it more than a decade ago found anything else that even compares, it is the apex of movie experiences, a spiritual experience, that touches deep into your inner perception, specially if you viewed it how he indirectly intended you to watch it.

He talks waaaaaay too fast. He knows English, sure, but I’m not used to a French accent that’s as fast as English speakers speak. Faster, even. It’s a deep movie, nonetheless.
