You’d think the property manager would have been there to at least see that the guy got in and started on the job o.k.?? As I recall I think the day they installed the new gate, Tim didn’t even hang around to help. He was off filming the ocean for the 100th time.

That’s one of the things that irks me at ST. He tells seniors “ get a side hustle, you can just fall out of bed and find a part time job” . No you can’t. It’s not always that easy to find even part time work when you’re over 60. My guess is that’s why Aldi (and Home Depot if you remember) never got back to him. They had younger applicants. Not saying it’s right to do it, but age discrimination does happen in the work place. And telling people go ahead and retire, you can find a side hustle easy is just plain irresponsible. Just my two cents.

However most of all how he presents HR are trained to weed out crap and he has it in bucket loads. I haven't seen the vids with Bev's Hummel collection but my sister collected them and she would talk about them. Also, one of my college roommates lived in a small town Eaton Ohio, that town used to host an annual Hummel Festival so that added to my knowledge base. Yes they are collectable but probably have limited appeal outside of boomers. A typical Hummel in the 1980s might sell for $50-$75 today I see them going for twice or more that amount. There are special limited editions and series/sets that can go for more, way more. Sue has 5 or 6 of them but they are not out right at the moment. The Precious Moments statues that were popular with kids in the 1990s were primarily an attempt to get millennials into the hobby at a lower price point and those are I think less formal than hummels.
