I've got a vague memory of finding this as a little kid and being amazed by the fact that there was a hot spring near where I lived. I used to go to Yellowstone a lot and loved everything hotspring/geyser related. I came back years later and the water was just mud and it smelled like crap mixed with dull sulfur. It was cool while it lasted. I'm curious how the hotpring formed though, and I can't find any info on it.

it's not a hike. It's a walk. I live in this area and go there sometimes
