Wonderland 222 has a nice planner as well with the Tomoe River paper. I love the simplicity of the common planner and may choose it for 2025 but I also like the weeks in between the months which is how wonderland 222 is set up. That you for the review of your setup.

Great video! I have used a hobonichi for a few years along with my a5 ring planner! I love your set up!

Love the vibe of your setup, Saray! :)

Tomoe River paper is amazing. It handles pretty much every pen and highlighter. It loves fountain pens and watercolor too. But getting blotter paper is super helpful. Stickers and washi work amazing on it too.

I'm glad that you've decided to give it a try. I'm using both of the Hobonichi and Sterling Ink brand planners for 2024.

Love this! The hobonichi cousin has been a fave of mine for a couple of years now - it truly is an all in one planner! Love how you’ve been taking the time to try it out and give it a chance!

Thanks so much, Julie! 😊 I keep coming back and forth to it.

I just switched to a Hobonichi weeks for the first time ever this year. I think I’m going to like it.
@nataliepolito715010 ай бұрын
I tried hobonichi last year and got frustrated with the space used up that I didn't need! I actually switched to sterling ink this year and honestly the minimalist design and extra space is perfect! It's funny even after 5sh years we always try to find planner peace. Hoping sterling ink is it for me!

I decided to use the Sterling Ink Weeks Horizontal for 2024, which one did you choose?

I am the same way about my weekend layouts! I've used the Emily Ley Simplified Daily Dapperdesk planner and it has a full day for Saturday and Sunday, so does Hemlock & Oak Daily. Just some other options for anyone still shopping!
@saraybailey10 ай бұрын
Oh great! Thanks for sharing! I didn't know about those two. I also thought of the Amplify Planner.That one has an all in one option with separate weekend pages. I love that planner too! I just wish the covers were more sturdier.
@JustScribble10 ай бұрын
There are other planners with separate Saturday and Sunday in bound book planners. But a lot hefty spiral combine them.

Julie, so glad you’re back! I really want a Hobonichi Cousin. These are beautiful. I’m glad you mentioned Amazon. I wouldn’t have thought of them. Is you’re an A5 or an A6? Many blessings for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
@JustScribble10 ай бұрын
This is the A5. The A6 doesn’t have weekly spreads in it. You have to buy a weekly supplement if you want weekly spreads.

Good to see you again! I have that same Hobo Weeks, and no matter what I tried, I couldn't adjust. The thing that is a dealbreaker for me is the thin paper. (Everything I used either bled through or shadowed.) For me it was a fail, but I'll keep it around just in case I'm tempted by the Hobo Cousin. 😁 Are you adding these to your EC planners or are you substituting? Just curious!
@saraybailey10 ай бұрын
The paper does take a lot to get used to but I feel I'm getting there. Almost everything will shadow so I'm coming to terms with that reality 😂. I'm looking to simplify my system so most likely these will be it for what I use. I may play around in some other planners but I really want to stick to one this year.

Have you see the Creffective Paper planner? It’s similar to the weeks but different paper.
@barbaragibson61210 ай бұрын
@@JustScribble I bought some Creffective downloads and I printed out the Hobonichi-like pages on my own paper. Since I use a standard Traveler's Notebook size, it's a bit bigger too.
@JustScribble10 ай бұрын
@@barbaragibson612 wonderful! She’s got the best inserts! Love her new physical planner 🥰 but it’s smaller than standard- it’s a little bigger than the weeks.

I just ordered a daily planner from Plum Paper and didn't even think to check if Saturday/Sunday were combined. (I definitely prefer when they are separate.) I guess I'll find out! 🤦🏻♀

I haven't experimented with a ton but my go to for planning works great on this paper...the Pilot FriXion Synergy.

I love the concept of the Hobo and Sterling but HATE the paper. I have tried several times to use the Hobo (have not tried the Sterling Ink) and not matter what I use, the ink smears. I have even used the Hobo Jetstream pen. I completely know that I am the problem and not the planners but I just can't do the Tomoe River paper.

Blotter paper can be a huge help. The UniBall ONE dries so fast on it so that’s an option. But you might like the Rosey Life Planner as an alternative. She has one not in TRP.
