Those who didn't followed GANDHI'S ideology and fought British empire in there own way were tortured and killed, even bhagat singh and his associates never had a proper trial and they were hanged before the original date and time. Bhagat singh, Raj guru and sukhdev's bodies were chopped off and thrown into the river. They were the first one who decided to assassinate Dwyer but they mistakenly shot some other officer called Sonders, and to avenge them and all the people who died at jalianwala Udham singh decided to do so.

"Ram Mohammad Singh Azad" "Raam" is the name of Lord Rama, an avatar of Lord Vishnu, who is a deity from Hindu religion and the preserver of life. "Mohammad" of course refers to the Holy Prophet Mohammad (May Peace be upon Him) - the founder of Islam. "Singh" is the common surname male Sikhs use and it was given to the Sikhs who joined the casteless faction called "Khalsa" started by the tenth Nanak - Guru Gobind Singh - the tenth and the last human Guru of the Sikhs. "Azad" literally means "free". It is a common surname in India. So basically that name says "Hindu Muslim Sikh Free". Contains both the idea of religious tolerance and unity as well as freedom for all Indians.

Achara almost noticed that the english subtitles were inaccurate. Yes, there are lots of subtitle inaccuracies "particularly" when there are dialogues about British condemnation and staunch-revolutionary statements and remarks. This movie doesn't shower Hyper-nationalism nor was it intended to. I believe that movie is silently screaming that it's just unfair, injustice and unequal for the Indians to know and celebrate about other nations' Revolutionaries and that the rest of world doesn't know a single thing about Indian Revolutionary:- SARDAR UDHAM SINGH. I am born in Amritsar not to far from jallian walla Bagh, but my wife is from Udham Singh Nagar in Uttarakhand, one of many cities named after him. Living in USA for 25 years. His intention was not to kill o'Dwyler, rather make him guilty for his action. After seeing the movie, I read a few quora posts where many British people are justifying their actions by saying Indian's are barbarians etc. But the historian is saying India was civilized and had a trade link with the roman empire. Many archaeological sites have confirmed we had a good sewage system etc. but the Brits in the posts say until they arrive we were wandering as pigs etc. I understood one thing, the British left because it was not profitable at some stage to manage the colony as US left Afghan. Until the British education system/society accept that they enslaved us for their profit until the British reject an official apology, We are still a slave/colony in the British Mind.

About Churchill’s statement it wasn’t said in private that sentence was made by him ,also jaby I feel that when filmmaker’s are doing this kind of projects in today’s world and have imp characters from real life making such statements usually they are true cause they do their research orelse they would receive severe backlash Winston Churchill, in the House of Commons debate of 8 July 1920, said, "The crowd was unarmed, except with bludgeons. It was not attacking anybody or anything ... When fire had been opened upon it to disperse it, it tried to run away. Pinned up in a narrow place considerably smaller than Trafalgar Square, with hardly any exits, and packed together so that one bullet would drive through three or four bodies, the people ran madly this way and the other. When the fire was directed upon the centre, they ran to the sides. The fire was then directed to the sides. Many threw themselves down on the ground, the fire was then directed down on the ground. This was continued to 8 to 10 minutes, and it stopped only when the ammunition had reached the point of exhaustion."
