@New Horizon Drone Photography DaVinci Resolve Studio 18 www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/davinciresolve/studio The license is valid for life. Also a future upgrade to V19 would be free of charge. Whether Blackmagic will change this, I don't know. But so far every upgrade was free of charge. You can register 2 PCs at the same time. As soon as you register computer 3, computer 1 becomes inactive. Or computer no. 4 is registered, computer 2 becomes inactive. You can register unlimited on new PCs. I think this policy is really fair. I still use a 28" digitizer monitor with pen for color grading. As a reference monitor a calibrated LG 48" OLED monitor: tftcentral.co.uk/articles/lg-oled-tv-calibration-guide-autocal-and-hardware-calibration Here you get nothing better for your money. These OLED parts will soon be in every film studio worldwide. Better goes only from 10,000€ upwards. The price-performance ratio of a calibrated LG OLED is unbeatable. There is no better performing and more powerful tool on the PC than DaVinci Resolve Studio. One must simply say so. Adobe Premiere is 300% slower in comparison and the color grading is nowhere near as powerful as DaVinci. But even Vegas Pro and other similar softwate don't come close to DaVinci. In Hollywood, DaVinci Resolve is state of the art. By 2009, DaVinci Resolve had cost $100,000. The blackmagicdesign Speed Editor is still highly recommended. As a bundle with a Studio license you can get it cheap. The Windows DaVinci Resolve Free version is 5 to 6 times slower than the Studio version, because it lacks the hardware acceleration for H264 and h265. Therefore, I would always recommend the Studio, which also has many other advantages. New in version 18 are the AI masks (really mega cool) and editing with other DaVinci Resolve users via the cloud. I have set up a project server on the Internet for this (5€ per month). Up to 10 users can work together on one project. For example, I work with other KZbinrs again and again together and for this the new feature is really ingenious, saves so much time.

Hero 10, because of 5k. with it you can improve the losses due to stabilization (details) when later downsizing to 4k. Any digital stabilization unfortunately always degrades resolution and details. As I said, so having more (5K) and later outputting it to 4k helps a lot here to minimize those losses.
