I loved how they showed what a lot of the older princesses look like in the modern style of Disney animation. I would actually enjoy seeing those turned into full fledged films. - Reboot WAS rebooted on Netflix by a bunch of jackasses who have no knowledge or respect for the source material, so unfortunately that series will never come back. - Dark Shadows is based off of an old TV series. Barnabas Collins was a reoccurring character in it. Not at all related to The Adams Family.

If you notice during the outro monologues of the 6th story, the scene descends into darling lighting to parallel the types of people and corresponding monologues of each character. It's simple, but the scene quickly changes from broad daylight to night time in the span of minutes. I'd say "hey that's a cool back drop" but it obviously served a purpose, with the only glimpse of light at the end being the top of the staircase that we don't see. It's metaphorical, but just ambiguous enough to draw many connections. No doubt this was to serve a transition from a lighthearted scene into something a bit more sinister seeming.
