I felt like the begging scene in the meyerwits set a good tone. The whole plot is basically just emotional boiling points that we get to so slowly we don't notice until we boil over. The cut after the screams I think more show how we reminisce about how we were when we were angry. It goes blank, you know you probably yelled some things, but it doesn't really matter. What you remember, like danny through the whole movie slowly, is how you got angry in the first place.

yeah the Sonic movie still should’ve been animated instead of another random guy meets a talking animal type of story we got. idk imagine a Studio Ghibli or Hayao Miyazaki Sonic movie, which might sound weird, but the Sonic games (at least the original ones) have always been about Sonic basically fighting against pollution. and the plot might actually be better than “eh kids might like it”.
@tonywords67134 жыл бұрын
People always say this with Miyazaki (usually with Zelda instead of Sonic) but it really wouldn’t work for his tone or style plus he tends to stick to more original, mature storylines. Adum watched Perfect Blue because ppl say that it is similar to Black Swan. He gave it a 7/10 and said that the elements he appreciated in Black Swan were not the same as in Perfect Blue so he doesn't think they are *that* similar.
@nanananananananananananana94304 жыл бұрын
@@michaelangelo2192 Yeah, I heard about it and I personally really disagree. While I do agree Black Swan is not really a rip off, Black Swan still takes a lot of elements from "Perfect Blue" and those elements were for me, far more executed. Perfect Blue was a far more layered and carefully constructed film compared to Black Swan. Black Swan didn't do much of a good job at showing how the character descends and also that a lot of the crazy imagery isn't as meaningful and it's mostly as just there to show character having illusionations despite not showing that well how the character descends. It just feels underdeveloped in how it was constructed, a little too rushed and I felt more strong emotions with Perfect Blue.
