Ger, I am an American. Just keep in mind that Sargent was injured for 1/2 the season, but I do not want to see Sargent at the club as it hasn’t worked for US players and I think that the dialog around this could get toxic. This doesn’t mean that I think you will be, just that it will be. However, I think that we ought to be looking at goal involvements in minutes played. Also key goals is important as well. Winners, ties, goals in key moments. All that said, I think we can do better.

I think my aprehention is mire around levels. I think he's fine for the championship, but leeds need and should have higher aspirations.

Ger straight to the point with news like always . With all due respect to our other Leeds content creators , you bring the best Leeds Content cause you brief things together so well instead of 10 videos a Day talking about the same thing over and over . In regards with Sergeant no thanks , we need real Premier League quality to survive if we go up and proven players . It's no coincidence that the 3 Premier League sides that got Promoted last year are all relegated straight away in Luton, Blades and Burnley. I personally feel there is no more than 8- 9 players in our Squad that are Premier League quality IMO. Cheers Ger

Totally. Curious as to which players you think are PL quality. I would say Rodon, Struijk, Ampadu, Gray, Gruev, Bamford (when fit…), Summerville, Gnonto and Rutter. On the fringes ie useful squad players would be Meslier, Byram, James, Kamara, Joseph and Roberts. I’d be looking to move on the others in the PL.

Premier League quality IMO is Rodon, Ampadu, Gray, Gnotto, Summerville, James, Struijk, Firpo. I personally think Gruev and Kamara would handle it but would need time to adapt . Rutter isn't Premier League quality he's to loose on the ball , he gets away with it at Championship level but he was terrible last time we were in the Premier League. Without an overhaul of our Squad if we get Promoted I feel we will just be battling with the other relegation Clubs

If promoted, the prospect of keeping Summerville is exciting, he's turning into some player is the lad, I thought he was about 80% v Norwich, and still ran the show. Fingers crossed!

It’s a link because Norwich are now offloading players that they can’t afford the salary due to not having parachute payments next year. It’s an obvious link with Farke, but purely online speculation.

Can’t really directly compare Sargent to Piroe since Piroe played about 1000 more minutes than Sargent during the season. That said, haven’t Leeds learned the lesson already of the risk of not buying players that are Premier League proven? Players like Sargent are too big of a gamble.

Linked with Sargent last year, so no surprise. Definitely an upgrade on what we have, still improving and imo best striker in the Championship this year.

Sargent scored 16 goals and 2 assists in 28 matches which is about 63% of the matches Piroe played. So, I'd say Sargent was significantly better than Piroe. Though Piroe doesn't really play the same role in the striker position as Sargent and is not really a fit in the Farke system. Sargeant had a .77 goals/90 while Piroe had a .42 goals/90. I don't think it's a bad move, but I'm not sure that he can perform well in Prem if Leeds advance. But I bet he'd be more prolific than Piroe, Bamford, and Joseph in the Championship.

If we fail to go up a nice profit from Summerville and Gnonto (£7m total cost) will bring in circa £50m so huge profit for FFFP rules. I would also think Dan James and Harrison would be great in the championship backed by the likes of Charlie Crew and Co for the wings no spend required and more to spend on the defence and midfield. Yeah I get many will not want Harrison but if we are not going to get £20m for him we may as use him so we have two wingers valued at £20m+ which is brilliant for the championship

I wouldn’t be against Sargent, think he has improved as he was quite raw when he first came over to UK. Assuming Bamford leaves then he would be good as an option alongside Piroe, Joseph and a new higher profile 9. Really hoping we do it Sunday but can’t say I am going to enjoy it unless we do what we did last time out. Memories of Watford and Doncaster still haunt me.😊

Sargent had 18 G/A in 1800’ minutes played. Piroe had 16 G/A 2800’ minutes played. Not even close to comparable. Sargent’s injury history is why we should steer clear not his caliber as a player

Sargent has managed 16 goals in 26 appearances. He was injured for a large chunk of the season though.

I like the way Brentford take chances with players such as Toney , rumour has it they will try replace Toney with Morgan Whittaker who is valued at £15 by Plymouth i would love to see Whittaker come to Leeds

Sargent is good but he gets hurt a lot. I really hope if we go up we don't buy a striker from the Championship as I don't think there are any good enough, midfielders fullbacks even defenders are OK but I don't see any top center forwards/strikers

Leeds need to sort their shitty IT system out. Absolute nightmare. Season ticket holder for 35 years and got the shittest seats at Wembley. Get to near the front of the queue, then it throws me out to the back. Eventually get back to the front, only category 4&5 available, click on 4, go to purchase and it's now Category 5! 4n half hours of my life lost. Don't talk to me about IT technology, its shit! Back in the day you wouldn't get to the front of the queue for the west stand ticket office then someone throw you out to the back of it!!!! Leeds need a serious overhaul of their ticketing system.

I hope we sell all the loanees for whatever we can get. None of them are good enough to get into our current eleven. With regards to Josh Sargent, we need at least one new striker, more than one depending on who leaves. Would Sargent be a good player for the P.L.? I'm unsure, but he's better than Paddy. He's not injured all the time for a start. I would prefer someone better, definitely if we get up.

I think speculation is just that, and what would we be buying with Sargent, another injury prone player whose ankles have given him lots of problems in his career lets not repeat the past like we did with BumFluff/Forshaw/Llorente/Firpo to name but a few. We should be looking at better in my opinion? Brereton Diaz would be a much better prospect in every single metric! he scored 6 goals in 14 matches in a very poor Sheffield side in the prem he has easily 10 goals in him in the prem if not more playing for a decent team, lots of people will be taking notice. ***MOT***

IMO any of the exiles that return should train away from the 1st team squad. Sargent is not what Leeds needs. Every transfer window the rumours have that mean we are changing the whole squad. We get linked with nonsense signings by clubs and agents trying to bump up the price of their players. I like that we don't talk about players that are currently on the books at other clubs.
