One of the icons of Bushcrafting and Classic Camping is Warren H. Miller. Like most outdoorsmen of the early 20th century, Miller made most of his own gear as the Outdoor Industry was in its infancy and was catering mostly to Motor Campers. This is the first video in a series that was inspired by an article from the June 1919 issue of Forest and Stream that Miller wrote discussing his design of the Forester tent, a backpack that was also a winter sleeping bag, and a summer bag. We'll be using that article and a couple of other sources to make the summer bag, but we'll have to solve a bit of a mystery to do it.
