it’s based on what your other hero levels are, say if king was lvl10 but your queen is lvl100, it will max your new hero up to what was needed to level your queen, which is the max. meaning your new hero will be maxed.

Merging 4 mortars with the town hall would've made more sense in my opinion as mortars are usually useless in higher town halls so that'd be some good riddance. Let's be honest the mighty Eagle Artillery can never be replaced, it's just that iconic of a defense! RIP Eagle :*)

What I personally think is that Supercell is looking at the long-term game. The eagle may be gone for now, but we may have an option to build it again in upcoming town hall updates like 18 or 19. something like that

I think this is a good update overall, minion prince looks very interesting But I agree with your comment at the end about having to upgrade a building to even touch your heroes.

I would prefer having the option to choose how many heroes I want upgrading at the same time. There's 10 hero pets with multiple levels but you can only upgrade 1 at the same time

Yea I completely agree with you on that Jo the fact that you can't dive in on your heroes new levels and the fact that you have to upgrade a building to unlock new hero levels is waste of resources for me as a maxed th16 player but I'm glad they keep the option for you to use 4 heroes only having 5 would be over kill on the battle field

the decision to lock hero upgrades behind a building upgrade is not making sense to me, it will just make progression even more resource heavy and even more time consuming than it already is.

Basically summed up my opinion there at the end. There was not reason to give it 10-11 lvls most of which just increase the lvl cap of how much you can upgrade the heroes. It would've been perfectly fine to give it 5/4 levels each of which just unlocked one of the heroes, the last upgrade unlocking the royal champion. Rest of it seems like a W update and am looking forward to try the new hero, just kinda annoyed at the requirement to upgrade building to continue upgrading heros.

With this new hero hall, Supercell really gave the middle finger to those who stopped upgrading heroes because equipments were more of a priority and use hero potion instead. At least that's the case for me. 😭😭

kenny is completely right if you have to spend resaurces and time on upgrading the hero hall it would be nice if you could upgrade heroes without builder and like pets u only have the dissadvantage of not being able to use them in battle or at least to be able to upgrade one without the builders like the pet house and if u want to upgrade more u would have to use builders

I don't like having to wait for a building to upgrade in order to start upgrading the heroes, so basically they convert the heroes to a second laboratory where you can only do upgrades when it is done, so now you will need 2 books or hammers for both buildings

If you’ve fully upgraded your heroes, don’t worry. When a new hero, like the Prince Hero, is introduced, it will already be at max level for you. For eg I'm Town Hall 13 players with maxed heroes, the new hero will automatically match the max level. The level 1 new hero is only for new players

I haven't been upgrading my heroes on my 2 low level accounts since the hero potion was changed. Ive just been using potions in war and focusing on other aspects. I'm going to end up with a level 1 minion prince on those 2 accounts because a level 14 and level 4 queen isn't going to save me.

Read the notes. Minion prince starting level will depend on your Town Hall level.

You have to have one hero at least 4 levels away from max level at th16 to get hero hall lvl 10 when update launches. Otherwise it scales to your highest hero
