Very true. Interesting too that from Beatles to The Police/Sting to Snarky Puppy if the band is led by a bass player (McCartney, Sting, League) there's a good chance that they will be successful. I hope 8BBB follows the pattern!

This is such a novel take on the song. The warmer chords and the way you arranged the instruments to be dissonant from one another gave the song a more untamed feel, like you’re in an ancient, marshy forest covered with moss and you’re hearing the whole ecosystem at once.

Really love both arrangements, but can't shake the feeling of wanting to swap the vibe of song of storm for this one. This song, specially the intro and the bridge, gives me more the vibe of comming clouds. And song of storm gives me the vibe of inocense and festivity of the kokiri. But again, both masterfully done.
