I know they are working on an MGS movie with Oscar Isaacs, and the director seems to be passionate about MGS. I hope they eventually get to MGS3. I've been obsessed with the idea of a live action Snake Eater since I first played it all those years ago. Gimme Big Boss taking down Cobras one by one, being beaten and battered the whole way through. I always had in my head the film showing the toll it takes on Big Boss, physically and mentally. Give me a scene like in Die Hard where John's feet are torn to shit from glass, and you FEEL every injury from earlier in the movie. THAT would be satisfying 😌👌

This is actual talent. An actual band, a person who is truly a talented vocalist, not the goofy yahoos made famous nowadays because they’re willing to be as ridiculous as possible on social media or in front of a camera. 10,000 thumbs up!

Agree, the joy they have in playing is part of the enjoyment for the listener. I love the 8BBB arrangements even though I am not much of a fan of big band normally but The Consouls (who did this will a male singer in funk style) made me appreciate VGM so I really appreciate the 8BBB covers.

i love how she lets the intensity of the vocals build up over the course of the song instead of going balls out from the beginning like the original, nice added touch that really makes it stand out from the countless covers of this song. Also black girl magic : )

Yeah, I'd say most of MGS' music is very Bond-esque, the main entries anyway. Snake Eater isn't a lonely dove in that mix. Very Bond.

What a thrill With darkness and silence through the night What a thrill I'm searching and I'll melt into you What a fear in my heart But you're so supreme!
