Sarie Marais, a traditional Boer Folk Song, which was possibly composed either during the first or the second Anglo-Boer War. This version was sung by a popular German Schlager and Volksmusik singer Heino whilst he was in Africa in 1984. Lank lewe die Boerevolk. Van jou Germaanse broers in Europa. ❤🇳🇱🇩🇪

This is in Afrikaans, not Dutch. Whilst similar, Afrikaans has some significant grammatical, phonological, orthographical, and vocab differences with Dutch, which is why it is classified as its own language.
